About me

Hi! I’m Litong, a junior at UC Berkeley double majoring in applied mathematics and public health, with a minor in journalism. I’m currently a deputy night editor at The Daily Californian. In summer 2026, I was a Dow Jones News Fund multiplatform editing intern at the San Francisco Chronicle.

I’m especially interested in science journalism. I’ve interviewed Fields medalists, MacArthur Fellows and many distinguished researchers and professors from around the world as I aim to break down and communicate complex scientific ideas to bring more science to more people.
